Meet the directors
Lel Parnis BAcc Law Hons, CA
Lel Parnis joined Holmans in October 2016 as a Senior Accountant and Team Manager, moving quickly to Partnership in November 2019.
Her career began in public practice accounting in Queensland before relocating to London in 2013, where she gained valuable experience within internal finance teams across a range of industries.
Fastidious in her approach to accountancy, she is highly regarded by both clients and the Holmans team.
With a proud Scottish heritage, Lel brings continued dedication to excellence. Above all, she believes every client is unique, and understanding their individual needs and preferences sits at the core of her work.
Tony Rossiter B.Com, CA
Throughout his 20-year career as a Chartered Accountant, Tony has specialised in providing accounting and taxation services to the accommodation industry.
Today, the Holmans Accommodation Team delivers professional services to more than 300 hotels, motels and serviced apartment properties throughout Australia.
In particular, Tony is passionate about advising new entrants to the accommodation sector, offering business structuring, due diligence and strategic advice to support both acquisition and operation.
His knowledge and expertise are highly regarded by financial institutions, legal advisers, sales brokers, valuers and other industry specialists.
Wayne Staal CA
Wayne is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and brings more than 18 years’ experience in the accounting profession, including time with one of Australia’s largest firms.
After returning to the Sunshine Coast over 15 years ago, he has supported a broad range of small and medium enterprises, primary producers and high-net-worth individuals.
In addition to specialising in business structures and tax planning, Wayne leads Holmans’ specialist divisions in medical and health practitioners and sports professionals. He also provides strategic guidance in risk management and business development.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and participating in sports such as golf, fishing and soccer.
Sharee Webster BComm (UQ), CA, CTA, RTA, Dip FP
Sharee Webster joined Holmans in April 2007 and manages the firm’s Maroochydore office, which opened in April 2008. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, along with qualifications as a Chartered Tax Adviser and Registered Tax Agent. In July 2016, she also obtained a Diploma of Financial Planning, enabling her to provide advice on all SMSF matters.
Before joining Holmans, almost 20 years were spent in Sydney, including time as a partner in a chartered accounting practice and as a senior manager in both small and mid-tier firms. During this period, strategic advice and specialised business solutions were delivered to a wide range of privately owned businesses.
At Holmans, her focus includes business structures, taxation advice and superannuation, particularly Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). Extensive experience has been gained in providing strategic tax advice to private clients, owner-operated family businesses and large corporate entities.
Importantly, Sharee is passionate about contributing to the Sunshine Coast community and giving back wherever possible.
